Download a project

Save a Sphere XG project to your computer to view and archive it offline.

⚠️ Unsupported browser. This downloader requires a Chromium-based browser (Chrome 86+, Edge 86+, or Opera 72+) because it uses the File System Access API. Firefox and Safari are not supported.

Project URL

Paste a Sphere XG project URL from either the Sphere Viewer (https://viewer.holobuilder.com/project/<projectId>) or the Sphere Dashboard (https://sphere.holobuilder.com/<companyId>/projects/<projectId>/details). .eu domains are also supported.

Folder name

Name of the folder created inside the parent folder you select. Leave blank to use the automatic name (name_id_date).

Include the offline viewer in the download

⚠️ The offline viewer is an early alpha preview — expect bugs and significant changes in future versions. Your downloaded project data is unaffected and can always be viewed later.

📂 What's in your folder:

index.html — Open this file in your browser to view your project offline
elements/ — All project data organized by element
assets/ — Raw image and point cloud files
project.json — The archive manifest: a schema-versioned description of the whole project, written on every download and readable on its own for long-term archiving

⚠️ Download Incomplete

Some files could not be downloaded and were skipped, so this archive is missing data.

🔁 How to complete it:

Run the download again into the same folder — files that are already there are skipped, so only the missing ones are fetched. This fixes failures caused by a dropped connection.
download.log — In your download folder; it lists every file that failed and why
If the same files keep failing, re-running will not help: the destination folder is probably too deep, because Windows limits how long a full file path may be. Download into a shorter path, such as C:\Archives, and try again.

You can then close this tab.
